Unlocking Solar System resources for Earth's economy

Tauri is leading the future of space mining by targeting valuable resources on near-Earth asteroids (NEAs). Our mission is to explore, extract, and expand the boundaries of human resource acquisition, turning the vast wealth of space into tangible economic benefits for Earth.

value overview

Imagine harnessing the vast, untapped resources of asteroids to fuel Earth's economy. Our upcoming mission to asteroid 1986 DA, which holds over $40 trillion in valuable metals like gold, platinum, nickel, and cobalt, is just the beginning.

size and potential

1986 DA is 6,000 times smaller than Earth and 2,000 times smaller than the Moon. Despite its small size, it has an estimated value equivalent to 50% of the global economy's nominal GDP, thanks to its rich deposits of precious metals and minerals. In Tauri Space, our mission is to unlock these resources for the benefit of mankind.

apophys mission 2029

The Apophysis asteroid is going to pass Earth in a close proximity of 33-42 000 km on May 13th 2024. Measuring certain parameters of an asteroid can unveil its inner secrets with proper interpretations and data quality. Understanding the structure of the inner composition of Apophysis will bring vital input into the development of the Tauri Space mission to 1986DA for the sample return and chemical structure analysis.

tauri technology

Tauri Explorer will be the first private geological exploration space vehicle to be developed in-house, in collaboration with leading companies in geological equipment manufacturing and space technology.

It will carry a unique payload to the Apophis asteroid, including a machine vision system, radar, magnetometric and gravimetric instruments, and multispectral and hyperspectral cameras. This payload will conduct a detailed chemical structure analysis of the Apophis asteroid in preparation for the upcoming mission to asteroid 1986DA.
